Course Description: ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ's Theatre Conservatory will be offering a full day of college audition workshops aimed at high school students who want to better prepare for admission auditions. Students will choose monologues, pick song cuts, do dance calls, and explore how theatre and social justice are related. Students will walk away with a better idea of how to effectively audition for college theatre programs and how to tailor their material to their specific skills and interests. Tuition for Summer 2023 will be $250.

Course Description: Course fulfills humanities general education requirement. Students will explore the process by which theatre is made, and gain an understanding of the ability to evaluate the contributions of all the various collaborators in any performance event. With access to Roosevelt's Digital Theatre subscription, students will view and discuss performances of leading theatre practitioners from around the world.

Course Description: During this five-day intensive course, students will examine and reimagine the relationship of space and the performing arts through five questions, one of which frames each of our days. These questions will bring to light the different ways music defines space, and space defines music. Students will use listening as a means of analyzing experiences and heightening awareness of relationships and interactions, calling attention to the sonic facets of socioeconomic, political, cultural, and racialized spaces.

Course Description: ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ's Theatre Conservatory offers the Fast-Track Master of Arts degree in Theatre Directing to serve the needs of highly motivated theatre educators. The program stresses practical training for the educator in tandem with special workshops and lectures with professionals in the field. The Master's in Theatre Directing is a three-year, summer-only degree program focusing on refining directorial and performance skills, developing new approaches in production preparation, and working collaboratively with other teachers and students who are dedicated to creating theatre with young adults. The curriculum concludes with a thesis production completed at your home school.
