Commuter Meal Plans

Whether you need a quick snack or a full meal, our campus meal plans for everyone . There are also grab-and-go options, cozy spaces to relax, and microwaves to warm your meals.

Lounges

Take breaks between classes in student lounges with charging stations, comfortable seating, and study areas – ideal for relaxing or productive downtime.

Locker Rental

Lighten your load by renting a locker on campus. Lockers are available for rent by semester or academic year.

Free Bike Storage

The Wabash Building offers convenient, secure bike storage, so you can take advantage of bike-friendly Chicago.

There are so many student involvement opportunities at RU. Engage in Roosevelt’s clubs, events, and networking opportunities designed to welcome commuter students into vibrant campus life.

Getting Around

The CTA U-Pass offers unlimited rides on any CTA bus or train during the Fall and Spring semesters. Divvy bike share provides a quick and affordable way to get around town. There’s a station right outside our Michigan Avenue entrance. ParkWhiz and SpotHero are great for locating parking nearby. Roosevelt also has discounted parking with the Chicago Hilton at 720 S. Staying Well

on the 5th floor of the Wabash Building is totally free for Roosevelt students, faculty, and staff.  It has all the gear you need including treadmills, stairmasters, bikes, ellipticals, circuit machines and free weights. There are locker rooms for everyone, including a family locker room.  Take advantage of TimelyCare, Roosevelt’s free and accessible counseling and wellness programs tailored for commuter student needs.
