About Me

Jim Fine is the full-time professor in the Paralegal Studies Program. Jim teaches the litigation, commercial law, and civil law courses  as well as the Legal Technology course. He has attended national legal technology conferences which has enabled the Roosevelt Paralegal Program to be in the vanguard of paralegal technology offerings as the legal communities evolve into E-Discovery and digital learning. Jim has a litigation, estate planning, and bankruptcy practice. Currently, Jim is working on instituting a Legal Clinic at ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ which will offer low-cost legal resources to students, faculty, and staff at the university as well as serving the Chicago public community. The clinic will also offer student internships to give students a hands-on experience of law firm tasks and duties.
